I'm Kota Ishihara — a frontend developer, EN-JP translator, and documentary filmmaker. I travel the world looking for home.

Born and raised in Japan. Grew up questioning what it means to belong — to a place, to a system, to yourself.

Fell in love with English, then French, then Russian. Each language opened a new way of thinking, a new way of being.

Discovered programming as another language — one that builds things. TypeScript, React, Next.js became my tools.

Started filming documentaries. "Until Find Home" — a project about searching for belonging while traveling the world.
